据媒体统计，厄瓜多尔此前美洲杯比赛连续10场不胜，今天他们终结了这一尴尬纪录。

厄瓜多尔在美洲杯中的近3场胜利都是来自对阵中北美及加勒比海地区球队的比赛，分别是2015年对阵墨西哥、2016年对阵海地和2024年对阵牙买加。
