6月24日讯在0-1被匈牙利绝杀后，苏格兰后卫拉尔斯顿在接受采访时表示，自己感到非常伤心。

拉尔斯顿这样谈道：“我非常伤心，我为球员和教练团队感到自豪，我们在这次锦标赛中付出了全部，这将是我们可以回顾并可以引以为傲的事情。很明显我们没有实现目标，这很难接受，但我们会重新振作起来。”
